Saw Blades

Whether you’re a professional tradesman or a keen DIY-er, your collection of cutting tools and saw blades should be a thing of beauty and pride.

The jigsaw, multitool and circular saw, fitted with appropriate quality saw blades, make up the very backbone of every carpentry project, offering you the flexibility and versatility to tackle a variety of different jobs in a range of different settings.

Whilst a circular saw gives a great all-around performance when using this utilitarian device, there are several different things to consider when it comes to choosing the right saw blades.

Almost all will be a TCT saw blade, meaning they have tungsten carbide tips – giving utmost strength and durability when cutting through a wide number of different materials – but you will need to know the correct size for your project. For example, do you need a 10mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm or 30mm bore circular saw blade? Also, you will need to know the size of the saw blade, for example, a 185mm TCT circular wood saw blade.

The Rennie Range

At Rennie Tool Company, we pride ourselves in offering a wide range of circular saw blades, including TCT circular, saw blades for wood. Our blades will fit almost all manufacturers, such as Bosch, DeWalt, Festool, Makita, Mac Allister, Guild, Bauker, Erbauer, Worx etc.

We also offer jigsaw wood saw blades designed and manufactured using the highest quality materials.

Designed to give fast, straight cuts through wood, our jigsaw blades are an economical choice.

Made from carbon steel, not only are our blades built to last with great durability, but they are also compatible with 90% of today’s jigsaw makes and models.

Our jigsaw saw blades are measured in teeth per inch, or TPI. The higher the TPI, the cleaner and smoother the cut, whilst the fewer the TPI, the rougher the finish will be, which can often be better suited to construction work.

Whilst our TCT circular saw blades can vary in teeth, our jigsaw blades give 5-6 TPI. Our TCT circular wood saw blades have different amounts of teeth; the fewer teeth the blade has then, the rougher the cut and the more teeth the saw blade has then, the finer the cut.

If you are working with different materials on a project and you are using a multitool, our 35mm oscillating multitool blades are perfect. Not only are they compatible with over 25 different Multitools, but they will give you coverage across the wood, drywalls, and most plastics.
